The high speed steel edge offers durable, tough cutting ability, while the tempered alloy backer provides the fatigue resistance for long blade life.

Works great for wood, too! I bought one of these 1″, 2/3 TPI bimetal blades for resawing and ripping on a wood bandsaw (Grizzly G0513X2BF.) So far I’ve used this blade for about 1 month, with dozens of cuts and it cuts great, leaving a fairly smooth finish. I’m posting more details on my website, bryanpryor.com, as I use it more, but it has been a great blade so far. My main purpose of this blade is to saw small logs/firewood into useful lumber pieces. I think the bimetal blade will last longer than the carbon steel, which is why I chose this blade. Great service and value for these blades!
