How long until I receive my band saw blade order?
We ship all band saw blade orders the same day, or the next day at the latest. Exceptions would include backordered items and special orders. Depending on your location, you can expect to receive your order within 1 to 5 business days.
Can I ship to a P.O. box?
No. The vast majority of our merchandise is shipped via UPS, and a valid street address is needed to ensure proper delivery.
How are shipping charges calculated?
Depending on the weight/dimensions of your order, shipping will be handled in one of two ways:
Orders weighing less than 100 lbs that can be shipped in common box sizes will be delivered by UPS. Your order will included an estimated UPS shipping charge at the time of the order.
For over-weight or over-sized orders that require truck delivery or special freight transfers, you will be contacted by a customer service representative to finalize the shipping arrangements and charges. Please be sure that your contact information is correct when ordering.
What is your returns policy?
We are committed to standing behind all of the products you see on our site. If you feel you need to return an item purchased on our site, please contact a customer service representative for assistance.
Why was I charged sales tax on my purchase?
If required by law, Detroit Band Saw will add sales tax to the order to be paid by the customer. Applicable sales tax will be charged on all orders to be delivered in the State of Michigan. If you are Tax Exempt, email us your tax exempt status, or fax to (734) 421-0259.
What charge cards do you accept?
Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover cards are accepted.
Do you ship internationally? What forms of payment do you accept internationally?
Yes we do. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Please contact our customer service department with your location for accurate shipping fees associated with international shipping.
How do I know your website is secure? Is my credit card information safe?
We process all our orders on a 128 bit secure server from GeoTrust to ensure your personal data is protected with the latest in Internet technology. Detroit Band Saw will not share or sell any customer information with third parties.
If I am ordering a band saw today, how long until it arrives?
Lead times on machines vary from being in stock to several months out. These vary from machine to machine as well. It’s best to contact a machinery representative to get the most accurate delivery date.
What is your shipping policy?
Order $100 or more of Saw Blades and receive Free Ground Shipping. Choose Saw Blade Ground Ship $100+ option. Your order must be shipped within the continental U.S.
We reserve the right to change the method of shipping to be most cost effective and efficient. Many over-weight items will not include shipping charges during checkout. In these cases, your order is not complete until you are contacted by a Detroit Band Saw representative to determine and pay for shipping charges. Orders placed after 2:00 p.m. Eastern time on Fridays will not be processed until the following Monday. To ship using a UPS Collect Number, please call us at 877-421-3636.
