Bahco/Sandvik
introduced the Bi-Metal blade in 1969. Using the Sandflex
technique, it became possible to combine and utilize the best characteristics
of tough spring steel and wear-resistant high speed steel.
The two materials are welded
together under high vacuum, the teeth are then milled out of the wear-resistant high speed steel to
produce a perfect match with the tough and very flexible spring steel of the back. Sandflex
offers optimum cutting characteristics, long life and a fast cutting
operation.Sandflex, being virtually unbreakable, becomes the best choice for your
application. |

The SANDFLEX
COBRAis available in widths from 1/4" through 3-1/8". The narrow blades are perfect for
contour and high production cuttingof small workpieces. The M42
teeth provide heat and wear resistance for long life. The wider widths are specially designed for high
production cutting of large workpieces. For large, difficult-to-cut alloys, The
SANDFLEX KING COBRA is the blade of choice. |
